NFTV : Kolkata : Today Students organization from Left parties including SFI, AISA, AISF and many other organizations staged a massive protest in Kolkata against the Two days visit of PM Modi. According to locals and office bearers of left parties, the students and party members opposing the discriminatory CAA, NRC, and NPR along with what happens in the premiers universities like Jamia, AMU and recently in JNU well-organized attack by fascist goon on students and teachers have fuels the anger amongst the left student’s organization. Today’s massive protest is the result of all these happenings which took place in recent days. students from left were painted graffiti on the street and wrote go back Modi and holding placards along with black gas balloons we’re releasing on to the sky of Kolkata. The left-leaning organizations hit the streets of Kolkata in larger numbers SFI, AISA, AISF activists along with senior leader likes Sujan Chakraborty and Mohammad Salim assembled near Jadavpur University, Golpark, College Street, Hatibagan, and Esplanade with the Placards and Students against fascism and Go Back Modi and chanting Azadi slogan along with Go Back Modi. While the airport road is blocked by Congress and Left students. Even the students broke three barricades erected near the stage of the sit-in at Rani Rashmoni Avenue, near the Raj Bhawan. After arriving in Kolkata Airport Prime Minister Modi’s proposed road tour to Raj Bhaban canceled and he was taken a helicopter ride from Airport to Raj Bhawan. SFI leader Tapas Das said the protest will go on as long as Modi is in the city until Sunday.
